Oracle refers to the Oracle Applications – Enterprise Business Suite product owned by the Oracle Corporation. The author has been a Functional and Process consultant for several years with focus around Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) softwares, primarily Oracle products. Since the blog is targeted towards an audience which has interest in solutions around Oracle Applications, Oracle and its various products will be referred frequently. On several occasions, the blog may refer to other ERP software products like SAP, JD Edwards (also owned by Oracle), etc. in order to explain solutions to readers.
